School 1 holidays break the monotony of the childgivi rn ng hi/her an opportunity to change from routine life. For me this is the most fascinating period that I am waiting for. mainly, there are three holidays.
Some are long but some are short holiday. Whether they are long or short our plans are longer not shorter. Very rarely we fulfil them as we have planned.
This is the high time for us to resume the duties at home that are left half done. Specially giving a helping hand for gardening, cleaning of the house, flower planting and raring animals. Also every school holiday I never forget to visit my neglected friends and relatives who need our help.
I think it is more charitable than to visit unknown Gods who stay far away from us. I used to spend my holidays usefully as much as possible. When ever possible silently I enjoy the natural environment of my own garden.
Fluttering of innocent insects, blooming of little flowers unseen on earth, feeding patterns of small birds and animals I closely examine them. They bring me great pleasure and release the tension of my mind and make me more sensitive towards nature.
School holidays contribute a lot to concentrate scattered thoughts. Giving assistance to household work is another pleasure gaining activity.
Getting rid of boring school work and occupying in something pleasant makes our life more energetic and soothing. For me school holidays are essential, to come back• to the reality of life even for a short period the year.
